Emma started to play Golf when she was 5 years old. She was one of the leading Spanish and European amateurs before turning professional.

 

Complementing her golf career, Emma studied Business Management and Administration at the University of Las Palmas. In 2012 she finished her Business Studies in Barcelona with a Master Degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

 

In her 5 years as a full member of the Ladies European Tour, she achieved numerous Top 10 results.

Emma models for several sports fashion companies, she works as TV commentator and as tournament organiser and she appeared in numerous brochures and on promotional magazine covers.

Amateur Career

   

Emma was a member of the 2002 and 2003 PING Junior Solheim Cup Team and played at the 2002 Junior Ryder Cup. 

The numerous titles of her amateur career include: 

2001 French International Junior Championship, 2001 European Young Masters, 2005 Finnish Masters and 2007 Biarritz Cup. In addition, Emma won the U16, U18 and U21 Spanish National Championship, Ladies European Amateur Team Championship 2002, European Amateur 2003 and Ladies European Championships 2005 & 2007. 

In 2003 and 2004 she was elected one of the 48 All-American Players of the American Junior Golf Association. 

 

 

Professional Career

 

In 2008 Emma turned Pro after winning the Pre-Qualifying Tournament and finished 7th in the Final Qualifying at the European Tour Qualifying School at the end of 2007. In her first year on the Ladies European Tour she gained international success and was awarded the runner-up Rookie of 2008. 

In her 4 years as a full member of the LET, she achieved numerous Top 10 and Top 30 results.
