Nacho held his nerve in a play-off at the 2021 Cazoo Open supported by Gareth Bale, defeating Justin Harding to win his first European Tour title on his 195th start. He won three times on the Challenge Tour in 2015 to secure immediate promotion to the European Tour. Nacho was crowned Challenge Tour Graduate of the Year in 2016 after finishing 44th on the Race to Dubai. Played golf at Texas A&M University, where he became a two-time All-American.

 

His first name from birth is Ignacio, but he prefers to be called Nacho.
